The Templar Kingdom is not under martial law and has never at any time, been under martial law. For the Templar Kingdom to declare martial law, serious civil disobedience/riots or medical epidemic outbreak have to take place. Only the Hand of the King (or the High Council of XII, in an unanimus vote of 100%) can declare martial law and retract the martial law.
Laws concerning religion[]
Other Christian bible based religions have official status of right of worship and the right to build their church or chapel in the country. Official status approved religions are exempt for paying taxes over church and monastery property (a humanitarian food bank or homeless shelter falls under the monastary clause), any other real-estate (which has nothing to do with the church or the monastery) properties will still be taxed.(If rent is demanded from the people living on the monastery compound, then it is seen as a real estate housing project and is taxed).
Non christian religions still have a right to worship in freedom but just do not get tax examptions/benfits as Christian religions do.
The priest/father/bishop etc, leading the flock is exempt from paying taxes if he/she lives on the church or monastery grounds and his/her living quarters form part of the main building. Church officals can not hold political office. Churches can not lobby gouverment for doctrine based issues.

Citizenship is not open to all and everyone. Citizenship is also not obtained mearly by being born on Templar Kingdom soil. Nor does one obtain citizenship bij having Templar Kingdom Parents, living outside the kingdom.
A) One can obtain citizenship through an excepted application. (In this case the citizen has dual citizenship)
B) One must be born of Templar Kingdom parents while being born on Templar Kingdom soil (this citizen has a single status citizenship)
C) One can obtain citizenship through marriage with a Templar Kingdom citizen and this person stays citizen for as long as the marriage last. (on devorce the Citizenship is also canseled!) (this citizen has dual citizenship for as long as (S)he is married to a Templar Citizen) Children born (on foreign soil) in this marriage, must go through process A
Asylum[]
The Templar Kingdom grants first a temporary asylum to everyone who's live might be in danger, permanent asylum is then considered and studied case by case, by Immigration Office. Any one offered permanent asylum is not automatic citizen of the nation.
